Your tax-deductible contribution is always welcome. Each year we need to raise more than $500,000 from non-government sources to support the operating expenses of our programs. Your support is vital to keeping our doors open to youth who need safety from the streets.

Ehelp

Ehelp is a method of helping a youth who has an immediate or special need ranging from a winter coat to a class ring. Here's how it works: An email request goes out to all of our ehelpers and special needs are usually fulfilled in a matter of hours.

Join Somerset Home's Walk of Fame

For a $250 contribution we will purchase a "brick" which will be placed in The Walk of Fame. Gifts can be specified to be used for current programs or for the support of our endowment as "living honor" or "memorial" contributions. Our endowment will assure that services will exist in perpetuity for all of the kids who need them.

 

 

Fund a Scholarship

The Somerset Home Endowment Fund provides $500 to $1,000 educational scholarships to youth who are or will be attending a post-secondary educational institution and have lived with us in one of our many programs.

Ever year since 2005, $7,000 to $10,000 in scholarships have been granted!

Please consider sponsoring one of these scholarships and making a $500 contribution to the Somerset Home Endowment Fund. Of course, any amount is appreciated. We strongly believe education to be a major component of a successful transition to adult responsibility. Thank you for your continuing support of our efforts on behalf of disadvantaged youth!

Support Education for Runaway, Homeless and Abused Youth

Two of our most important (and under funded) programs are our Transitional Learning Center (basic skills education program) and our Pathways (independent living/life skills) program.

Each year Somerset Home has to raise funds to support these programs. These programs would not exist without the support of donors like you. Please make a $100 contribution today to help us provide these important services.
