Bidders Conference Set for TLP Construction Projects

The Passages Bathroom Project and the Whitney House Emergency Exit construction project are both back on track after getting pushed to the back burner while we managed flood related repairs earlier this year. Interested building contractors will attend a bidders conference at Passages on October 11th at 4:00 PM. Construction plans will be distributed and the architect will be available for questions and answers. Following the meeting there will be a tour of the facilities where the work will be conducted. Bids are due October 19th at noon.

Passages Licensing Inspection

With our Brahma House inspection concluding tomorrow, we are already preparing for our Passages inspection in two weeks. The Department of Children and Families Office of Licensing Passages review will span three days from October 17-20, 2007.

We have a common purpose with our licensing inspectors - to make sure the program services being received by our youth are the best possible services available. We look forward to these visits and expect things to go very smoothly. If you have any questions about this licensing visit, please contact Alex Ciccone, program director.

The 9th annual Run for Runaways will be here before we know it! We still need major sponsors, ad sponsors, and volunteers to help with our big event on November 3, 2007.

Please contact Joe Godby if you would like to serve on the committee or help with one of the many tasks involved in this exciting event. Check out the web site at http://www.runforrunaways.com for more details.

Funds raised go to directly benefit our residents. I look forward to seeing you there!
