Santa Arrives at Brahma House and Passages/TLP programs

As expected Santa, this year accompanied by two trumpet playing elves arrived to spread holiday cheer and gifts. Anna Gomah, (left) Brahma House case manager and Krystal Vanderbeek (right) Pathways life skills assistant and Brahma House gift coordinator, assist Santa in handing out gifts to program youth. The community really makes this event possible, donating thousands of dollars in gift cards, gifts and cash. A very big thank you to all our volunteers, shoppers, wrappers and donors!

Annual NYC Holiday Trip - How the Grinch Stole Christmas on Broadway

Cindy Loo Who and the Grinch from the new musical (above)

The annual NYC holiday trip included the broadway show, dinner and a trip to see the tree at Rockefeller Center and the snowflake wall at Saks. The warmer weather made it a much more comfortable walk and everyone had a great evening.

Our bus driver got us in and out of the city quickly and safely (below)

Capital Projects 2006, 2007

The new floor covering was installed just in time for the holiday party at Brahma House on December 19th-20th. The new carpeting in the TV room/library and installation of new tile in the dining room looks great and we are now completely finished with all capital projects for 2006.

It is hard to believe that 2007 is almost here! Next week we meet with the architect and begin to plan our bathroom renovations at Passages and new cellar staircase for Whitney House.

As always, thank you all for your continued hard work on behalf of our youth.

Sincerely,
