Scholarship at Passages

Award recipients Andrew Kim, Erica MacFadyen, Kwame Donyina and Darice Carter display their scholarship award plaques at the NJACRF conference

At the annual NJACRF (New Jersey Association of Children's Residential Facilities) conference April 29, 2005 all four of our college bound Passages residents received a Ted Hamway Scholarship Awards of $1,000. These grants are renewable four times as they continue in their college experience. We are very proud of them and their accomplishments.

My Place I Opens!

After many months of planning and program development, My Place I was issued a group home license on April 29, 2005 and welcomed our first youth on May 3, 2005.

401(k) Pension Update

Did you know that there is a new 1% match to the 401(k) plan? What this means is that the agency will match your first 1% of contributions to 401(k) retirement plan. This could mean as much as $250 per year in additional benefits paid for by the agency! Now is the time to join the 401 (k) if you haven't already! You can start the plan by allocating as little as 1% of your salary and enrollment is open to anyone who works more than 1,000 hours per year (avg. 19.23 hours per week). Please see Barbara Kreutzer for more details about this plan.

Join us for a very unique fund raising event to benefit Somerset Home on May 22nd. Click on the dining spaces logo or visit http://www.diningspaces.com above for more information.

As always, thank you all for your continued hard work on behalf of our youth.

Sincerely,
