My Place I
N.J. Human Services Commissioner James Davy announces My Place I Funding
At a press conference in Trenton last week, Human Services Commissioner James Davy announced that Somerset Home would receive funding for My Place I. We are very excited to be finally opening this new program. Our official opening date is scheduled for May 2, 2005.
Trina Shivers (Independent Living Coordinator/DYFS) Marthe Neill (Executive Director/ Garden State Coalition) and Nancy Caplan (Independent Living Services Director/DYFS) met after the press conference to talk about expanding services to older adolescents in New Jersey

This is an exciting time of year for our Passages youth, attending proms and with graduation on the horizon. This year four of our Passages youth will be graduating from High School and Passages, attending colleges in the Fall.
