Run for Runaways - It's here!!...
November 6, 2004
Set up your personal run for runaways fundraising page and help us raise funds for our programs by clicking on the red maple leaf below.
You can help by sending email to your friends and family through the active giving web site. If you have any questions about active giving please ask Tierney O'Donnell. She can help you set up your web page and upload pictures or whatever else you may need help with. I am confident that we can reach our $5,000 goal.
Thank you to all of you who have volunteered to help make this day a great success.
New Dental Plan!
I am very pleased to announce that effective November 1, 2004 we have a new improved dental plan for all employees. Delta Dental Premier has replaced our existing Fortis Dental Plan. Under the old plan the maximum benefit was $1,000 per year and under the new plan it is $1,500. The plan also includes 9,000 participating dentists which is far more than the old plan.
My Place Update
New York Mercantile Exchange contributed $3,000 and PNC Bank contributed $4,500 toward our efforts in developing My Place I and My Place II.
My Place I facility improvements continue and last week as we saw the end of interior painting, floor refinishing and final facility improvements. Furniture has been delivered and the final phase of facility readiness is underway. We are still projecting an opening date of January 1, 2005.
As always, thank you all for your continued hard work on behalf of our youth.
Sincerely,
