Health Insurance Update
The health insurance plan has finally fully transitioned and all of the insurance and prescription cards have been distributed. Please contact Gary lKreutzer if you have any questions about coverage or if you experience any problems with the new health insurance program at 908-526-6605.
The agency has put in a bid on the house contiguous to the shelter property at 55 Brahma Avenue for the first of two My Place TLP residences, however, we were outbid. We continue to look for suitable properties for this program.
On May 3rd our new Bridgewater Mayor Patricia Flannery will visit the Somerset Youth Shelter. We are also scheduling a visit from the new New Jersey Human Services Commissioner James Davy for later this Spring. As you know our services are viewed across the state as model programs and we are happy to invite guests in to see our work.
April 28th is Earth Day and we have a small group of volunteers from Ethicon, a Johnson and Johnson Company, to plant flowers and spread mulch at Passages. The Earth Day projects are being organized by the United Way of Somerset County.
As always, thank you all for your continued hard work on behalf of our youth.
Sincerely,
